hello, friends! are you ready to make a tiny terrarium? of course you are!
alright, time for a little honesty: i like plants. i really do. i just don't think they like me. i can never get them to stick around for very long, if you catch my drift. so here's an easy five minute "terrarium" that will never die!
supplies
+ a small plastic plant : you can find this in the floral department of any craft store. look for bunches made up of smaller leaves or bulbs that you can cut off. i chose to use succulents for my terrarium.
+ a tiny bottle with a cork : these can also be found at any craft store, but i just used one i already had. mine didn't come with a cork stopper, so i just picked one up at home depot.
+ "dirt" : just go outside and, well...grab some! (it's free, kids. you gotta take advantage of that.) of course here in the midwest, the ground is frozen solid...so i just used coffee grounds!
+ scissors
+ snip off one of the branches from the bunch to use as your plant.
+ fill your bottle halfway with "dirt".
+ use tweezers to place your tiny plant in the bottle, and cork it. easy-peasy, you're done!
have a wonderful weekend!
at least it won't die:)
